Lyrics
VERSE 1
I know thy works
Thy labor and patience
How thou cannot bear them that are evil
You have tested them
Who say they’re apostles
But they’re not apostles
We know they lied
CHORUS
Blessed Jesus
You are my first love
There is no other love that can compare
Blessed Jesus
It is your holy love
It is your perfect love
That leads us to you
VERSE 2
You have suffered
You’ve had patience
For my sake you labored and you did not faint
But I have something
Something against you
Because you have left your first love
CHORUS
Blessed Jesus
You are my first love
There is no other love that can compare
Blessed Jesus
It is your holy love
It is your perfect love
That leads us to you
VERSE 3
Now there’s no other love
That we desire
There’s no greater love that we could ever know
Blessed Jesus
You are my first love
There is no other love
That can compare
VERSE 4
Now you must come back
To your first love
It’s the love that’s full of zeal and full of passion It’s the first love
That will do anything
That will go anywhere
Just for the Lord
CHORUS
Blessed you are my first love
There is no other love
That can compare
Blessed Jesus
It is your holy love
It is your perfect love
That leads us to you
