I Waited Patiently

VERSE 1

He brought me up

Out of the miry clay

Out of an horrible pit

Set my feet upon a rock

Established my goings

Put a new song in my mouth

Even praise

Unto our God

CHORUS

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

INTRO AGAIN

Put their trust in God

Blessed is that man

That makes the Lord his trust

And respecteth not

Respecteth not the proud

Nor such as turn to lies

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

INTERLUDE

Many shall see and fear

Put their trust in God

Blessed is that man

That makes the Lord his trust

And respecteth not

Respecteth not the proud

Nor such as turn to lies

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

I waited patiently

For the Lord

He inclined unto me

And heard my cry

I waited patiently

And heard my cry

I waited patiently
