I Want My Love to Last

VERSE 1

Oh God I wanna love the way you do

I want the God kind of love

I want to feel this love forever

I want a love that never fails oh Jesus

I want my love to last

I want my love to go on and on and on and on

I want something that is lasting

I don’t want the sun to stop shining on my love

Lord I am married now

And I want my love to last

I want to love and be loved for always

When the years have gone by

And things have changed so much

Oh Lord I want to still be in love

Am I asking for too much love

Is it possible for relationships to go on and on

Will he love me forever

Will I also love him forever

I want my love to last

I want my love to last. Love never fails

Whatever God does, it shall be forever

This is the love that God has made

And I know that it will last through all the changing scenes of life

I want my love to last

That’s my prayer oh Lord

I want my love to last
