Let My People Go

LET MY PEOPLE GO

21

VERSE 1

I received a call from God the other day

I was just a young person

He spoke to me and said my child you are mine

You must work and you must preach

VERSE 2

Do you know the secret of prosperity

Seek ye first the kingdom of God

And all these things people are seeking for

I will give them all to you

CHORUS

Ooh Let my people go

Ooh Let my people go

They will serve me in the wilderness

VERSE 3

Blessed is the man whom God chooses

And He causes to approach

He shall be satisfied with goodness of thy house

And of thy Holy Temple

VERSE 4

One thing have I desired of the Lord

That one thing will I seek for

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

And behold the beauty of the Lord

CHORUS

Ooh Let my people go

Ooh Let my people go

They will serve me in the wilderness

BRIDGE

Do you know the secret of prosperity

Seek ye first the kingdom of God

And all these things people seek for

I will give them all to you

INTERLUDE

VERSE 5

You shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless

He shall bless the bread you eat

He shall also bless the water that you drink

I am the Lord that health thee

You shall serve the Lord your God and he shall bless

A blessing for all those who serve

He will take away sickness from your midst

The number of your days He will fulfill

They will serve me in the wilderness
