My First Love

VERSE 1

I hear so many songs about love

Everyone says it is love

But I know, It is not love they have found

Emotions and feelings

And I, I’ve found the greater love of God

INTERLUDE

No other love compares

Oh I’m glad, So glad that I found you Jesus

INTERLUDE

Oh oh oh oh, yeah

You will always be, my first love

INTERLUDE

Jesus, you are my first taste of love

The only thing that’s real

When I found you

The love of boys and of men couldn’t match your perfect love

And why, oh my, why did I waste all my life without you

INTERLUDE

No one else will do

Jesus Lord, your love is the greatest love

INTERLUDE

Oh oh oh oh, yeah

You will always be, my first love

VERSE 3

Jesus, I love to talk with you

Reading the word of God

I love you Lord

I find such peace with you, I feel at rest with you

And Lord, you won my heart on Calvary

INTERLUDE

I want to serve you first

And my life, oh my life will always be for you Jesus

I know I’ve found in you, my first love

INTERLUDE

And Lord, you won my heart on Calvary

INTERLUDE

I want to serve you first

And my life will always be for you Jesus

Cos your love is the greater love

No other love compares

I’ll give my heart to you

My love, my love, my first love
