Be Zealously Affected

INTRO

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

My little children I’m going on a journey

To a faraway land to work for the Lord

I hear the voice of one calling:

Who will go for me

Oh my children when I go I want you to promise me one thing

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

My little children promise me that when I go

You will continue the work we started

I want you to be full of zeal, full of life

And give yourself to the hard work of the ministry

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

Don’t slack, don’t stop doing all the things

That we have been doing together

We gotta preach, we gotta teach, we gotta win souls everyday

Please come to church and stay together

(Even when I’m not with you)

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

INTERLUDE

I know when I go the enemy will come and say

Hey girl, you need some loving

You need somebody to hold you tight

Give yourself a treat. Get yourself a boy

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

The enemy will say why worry, have some fun

He will tell you: boy! This is your chance to fool around

Hey! boy, where’s your old girlfriend

Why don’t you give her a call, tell her you’re available

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected

You don’t need to go to church everyday

And you don’t need to be holy

You can’t be so serious every day

You’re much too young to go to church so much

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

Not only when I’m present with you

Be zealously affected always in a good thing

It is good to be zealously affected
