Build Your House on a Rock

CHORUS

Build your house on the rock

And the rains will come down

Build your house on the rock

And the floods will come up

Build your house on the rock

The winds will blow vehemently

But your house will stand strooong

VERSE 1

Whoever hears my words and he keeps them

Whom shall I liken him to

He is like a man who built his house upon a rock

Upon a solid rock

I do not choose to build upon the easy sands of life

I will take my time and build upon the rock

CHORUS

Build your house on the rock

And the rains will come down

Build your house on the rock

And the floods will come up

Build your house on the rock

The winds will blow vehemently

But your house will stand strooong

VERSE 2

So be patient my brother

He that hastens to be rich

He has an evil eye

Seek ye first the kingdom of God yeah

And his righteousness

Labor not to be rich

It is the blessing of the Lord that maketh rich

And not your many efforts

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

CHORUS

Build your house on the rock

And the rains will come down

Build your house on the rock

And the floods will come up

Build your house on the rock

The winds will blow vehemently

But your house will stand strooong

INTERLUDE

VERSE 3

There was a certain man he had two sons

The younger said to him: give me my portion I want to leave home now

He began to have a lot of fun with many beautiful girls

But one day there was a big a crisis

The young man lost everything and had to feed the pigs

Nobody gave to him and his whole life was destroyed

CHORUS 2

What are you gonna do when the rains come down

What are you gonna do when the floods come up

What are you gonna do when the wind blows on you

Will your house stand strooong

CHORUS

Build your house on the rock

And the rains will come down

Build your house on the rock

And the floods will come up

Build your house on the rock

The winds will blow vehemently

But your house will stand strooong

Build your house on the rock

And the rains will come down

Build your house on the rock

And the floods will come up

Build your house on the rock

The winds will blow vehemently

But your house will stand strooong
