Stir Up the Gift of God

STIR UP THE GIFT OF GOD!

5

CHORUS

Stir it up, Gift of God

You must stir it up (Common brother)

Common and stir it up

Gift of God, you must stir it up

VERSE 1

It’s been a long, long time since I called you and I chose you

I placed my call upon your life

I gave you a gift

The gift of the Holy Spirit

Now it’s time for you to stir it up

CHORUS

VERSE 2

Can’t you see you’re getting a little bit older

How long is it gonna take for you to see

How much more time do you need

To stir up the gift

You’ve got to use the gift God has given you

CHORUS

VERSE 3

Do you remember how I called you

You were so young

You were so fresh and you were so excited

The gift and calling they are without repentance

If I make you a prophet you’ll always be a prophet

CHORUS

INTERLUDE

VERSE 4

Ask yourself why so few are chosen

Have you ever asked why so few are shining?

They have neglected the gift that I put in them

Many are called but few are chosen

So you must stir up the gift and obey the call

Believe in the gift, use the gift and stir up the gift

CHORUS

Stir it up, Gift of God

You must stir it up (Common brother)

Common and stir it up

Gift of God, you must stir it up
